Eustacio Gonzales

Monahans, Texas

Eustacio R Gonzales (82) passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 14th, 2023.

He was born in Ft. Stockton, TX to Gabriel Mendoza and Fransisca Ramirez Gonzales. Those who knew him will, knew him as “Tacho”. He is the second oldest of 5 Brothers and 2 sisters. He met the love of his life, Amelia, and instantly knew she was the one he would spend the rest of his life with. They got married on April 11th, 1964, at St John’s Catholic Church. Raising 3 boys and 1 girl, Victor Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Robert Gonzales, and Larissa A. Gonzales. He was a career truck driver, driving water trucks, transports, kill trucks, and hot oilers until he retired. His real passion was traveling to jails and prisons sharing his testimony and preaching the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ in Texas and New Mexico, Hawaii, and Israel. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and he had a heart the size of Texas!

He is  preceded in death by his parents Gabriel and Fransisca Gonzales, his older brother Larry Gonzales, his sister Amelia Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia Gonzales, and sons Victor Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Robert Gonzales, and daughter Larissa Gonzales. Brothers, Domingo Gonzales and wife Irene, Fransisco Gonzales, and wife Ester, Jesse Gonzales and wife Elva, and sister Celerina Gonzales. Grandkids, Mike Gonzales and wife Ashley, Kimberly M Gonzales and fiancé Brandon, Victoria D Gonzales and Monique Villesca and fiancé Robert. Great Grandchildren, Jody, Evan, Ella, Christian, Yanelly, and Alexiya.

He was a very kind and considerate soul, and would help anyone in need, he will be terribly missed, loved by all who know him well.

A Viewing will be held Monday January 16, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm for immediate family and 12:00pm till 8:00pm for friends and extended family.

Service will be at Grace Fellowship Church at 2:00 pm , then laid to rest at Monahans Memorial Cemetery
