Mary Lou Chavez, age 65, passed away from this life on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Mary Lou was born on July 2, 1956 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Pablo Chavez and Modesta Rios.

Mary Lou loved singing, having outings with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed having barbecues on Sundays with her family and friends.

Mary Lou is preceded in deathy by her father, Pablo Chavez, and her mother Modesta Rios, brothers, Frankie Chavez, and Daniel Chavez.

Mary Lou is survived by three daughters, Erica Munoz and spouse Javier of Monahans, Texas, Jeannette Lopez and spouse Arturo of Artesia, New Mexico, Vonnie Chavez and spouse Narissa of Odessa, Texas, two sons, Joel Briones and spouse Corina of Greenwood, Texas, Edmundo Briones Jr. of Kermit, Texas, 16 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2021 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2021 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Joe officiating.
